Our Approach

Every project starts with the story, not the storyboard.

Rushes was founded in Denver in 2016 by Elena Kowalski, a former broadcast news photographer who wanted to bring the same discipline — real lighting, real sound, real pacing — to corporate and brand video. We're a small, senior crew: no outsourced editors, no junior camera ops learning on your dime.

How It Works

From first call to final delivery.

Discovery Call

We start with a 30-minute call to understand your goals, audience, and where the video will live — website, paid ads, sales enablement, internal comms.

Creative Brief & Shot List

We write a short creative brief, script or interview outline, and shot list, and confirm it with you before any equipment is booked.

Production Day

Our crew arrives with camera, lighting, sound, and (if needed) teleprompter gear. Most single-location shoots wrap in one day.

Edit & Review

You'll receive a first cut within 7–10 business days, with up to two rounds of revisions built into every package.

Final Delivery

Final files are delivered in every format you need — web, social crops, and broadcast-ready masters.
